When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as:

  • Delivery Address (Physical)

  • Email Address

  • Telephone Number

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We use your information strictly for the purpose of:

  • Fulfillment: Processing your order and delivering your belt via our courier partners.

  • Communication: Sending you order confirmations, tracking updates, and invoices.

  • Marketing (Consent Based): With your permission (e.g. if you opt-in to our newsletter) or if you are an existing customer (in line with POPIA Section 69), we may send you emails about new products. You may unsubscribe at any time.

3. SHARING OF INFORMATION (THIRD PARTIES)

We do not sell your data. However, to deliver our service, we share specific data with the following trusted third-party service providers:

  • Shopify: Our e-commerce platform hosting provider.

  • Logistics Partners: To deliver your parcel, we share your delivery details with our logistics management platform (Bob Go) and their affiliated courier partners (which may include The Courier Guy, Internet Express, or others depending on your location).

  • Payment Gateways: To process your payments securely via providers such as Bob Pay and Payflex.

    • Note: We do not store your credit card details; these are handled directly by the encrypted banking gateways.

  • Judge.me: To collect and display authentic customer feedback. We share your name, email, and order details so they can invite you to review your purchase and verify your testimonial as a "Verified Buyer."

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): To analyze our marketing performance and show you relevant style content on social media. We use tracking technologies (including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API) to share website activity and hashed customer identifiers with Meta Platforms, Inc. This helps us ensure our community sees our most relevant products and style advice.
    • Note: This data may be processed or stored on servers located outside of South Africa.


4. SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc, which uses strict SSL encryption technology.

We use cookies to maintain your cart data and improve your browsing experience. By using our site, you agree to the placement of these cookies on your device.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you.

  • Ask us to update, correct, or delete your personal information (the "Right to be Forgotten"), provided we do not need to keep it for legal tax records (SARS requires us to keep invoices for 5 years).
